Greetings from Dramaga!

Dramaga's district sign
Oh yeah...this post is typed by a full-time student who is enjoying her first week of campus routines :D! So, after battling with the whole entrance procedures, I have finally started again my academic life as a master's degree student. Alhamdulillah :). やっぱり, studying is SUPER FUN!

However, since Bogor is not Yogyakarta nor Jakarta (nor Chiayi :D), I have to adapt to this city. Well, Dramaga is not a hectic area, though. It's a little bit hectic ONLY because two ANGKOT terminals (= Laladon and Bubulak) are located side by side, hence the vehicles that going around Dramaga are jam-packed on its narrow-and-badly-perforated road #grin. Nevertheless, because I had proved to survive well in Taiwan, I think I'm going to be just fine staying in Bogor.

1. Lost in translation
Since arriving here, I soon felt like transported back to Taiwan in terms of experiencing language barrier. Seriously, I'm bahasa Sunda deaf! I don't understand AT ALL when local people converse each other. Whenever I buy something around the campus and the seller talks in bahasa Sunda, I always like "Huh? HUh?? HUH???". 全然わからない! I couldn't understand A SINGLE WORD #sobs. So yeah, I guess I need to slowly learn this language, a simple conversational bahasa Sunda will do, because I'll stay here for around a year. Wish me luck!

2. Super amazing lecturers and super enchanting lectures
My campus's landmark***

For this semester, I took three core courses and two elective courses. And, I'M IN LOVE with FIVE OF THEM! How come? Because all lecturers can make me goes "Hooo...I've got it!" every time they are explaining the lectures. They are not only experts, but definitely know how to give interesting lectures and make students understand the contents of the courses. I don't know how IPB can perfectly select its lecturers, but seriously, this thing amazed me the most! We are all know that there are so many brilliant lecturers or experts, but only a few of them really know how to communicate, give high quality lectures, and perfectly transfer their ideas to the students or people.

3. Super high level of survival
Since I came solo (read : completely ALONE) to IPB, I don't have close friends. Of course I make friends with some of my classmates, but when it comes to course's grouping, I always have a hard time finding partners. Yeah, because everyone tends to choose their close friends as their partners in group. So, I have to wait until everyone gets their groups completely formed and finally joining in the group that has least member. Hahaaa XD! Poor me, eh? But surprisingly, I don't feel depressed nor disappointed with it. My rocky and colorful experiences in Taiwan are definitely make me stronger. Alhamdulillah :).

All in all, I'm super SATISFIED enrolling to IPB :D! This time, I'll make sure to end it nicely. Insya Allah. #fingercrossed

***I promise myself to ask Mom and Dad to take a picture in front of this landmark after my graduation (with my cum laude sash slings on my shoulders) :)
