Sacrifice

I'm the person who believe that in order to get something BIG, I need to sacrifice something. A simple analogue is in an adage "the world is the place to work your ass off and the afterlife is the place to have an eternal fun" (dunia adalah tempat bersusah-payah, manakala akhirat ialah tempat kesenangan abadi). How can we expect an awesome result without putting anything at stake? Besides, Allah loves the servant who gives the best merit (Allah mencintai hambaNya yang memberikan pahala terbaik). How can we give the best merit if we only lay back and relax, without showing an effort?  How can Allah evaluate our deeds if we never endure pain and hardship? #self-reflection#
