This Is How Ukhuwah Works

These past three weeks, I've been insanely going back and forth from Jakarta to Bogor. And let me tell you that it was VERY TIRING to do that by motorcycling XD! Breaking news, now I'm officially one of the millions of capital city's motorcycle rider. Ha~...adios, angkot! Yeah, I must do that for the sake of fulfilling my IPB's registration procedures. We are all know that the university entrance registration procedures are always VERY COMPLICATED. But surprisingly, I HAD A FUN completing every single step of it. Seriously :).

So, last week, when I was in the middle of getting a recommendation letter from the dean of IPB's Graduate School, I bumped into these people:

Bapake SBI (fourth from right) and Mr. Kom (third from right) :D

Hahaha...rupanya dunia hanya selebar daun kelor! Pak Tya was happened to be a speaker for "scientific paper writing"'s workshop held by MITI-M. Mr. Kom? The newly groom is a lecturer in IPB, thus he's just meant to be there #youknowwhatImean. So of course I ended up having a reminiscent moment with them. How nostalgic was that :D?! Hence, Mr. Kom who was in a complete surprise seeing me there kind of understood why I was wandering around at his very campus. Then, surprisingly, he offered me this favorable help: introducing me to his father-in-law who happened to be The Head of IPB'S GRAD SCHOOL (Master's Degree Program). Huh? What's that for? Mr. Kom thought that my chance to get accepted as a transferred master's degree student in IPB would be higher if his father-in-law played "his magic tricks" :)). Yeah, you betcha!

So, a day after that nostalgic meet-up, I met Mr. Kom's father-in-law (*yang tentu saja seorang ikhwah :D). He is very nice. He listened to my story regarding to why I ended up going home without snatching my degree from NCYU and gave me a lot of encouragements. He told me that, "Dengan kelengkapan berkas Anda; terutama surat rekomendasi, kesesuaian program studi, dan IPK, saya tidak menemukan alasan IPB untuk menolak aplikasi Anda. Insyaallah Anda akan diterima". Alhamdulillah...all praises to Allah. Now I just need to wait until February for the acceptance announcement and I'll move to Bogor. Kom, thanks a mil for your help :)!

So, do you agree that ukhuwah always find its magical way to help you? I do.
