Bugi's First Trip to Tainan

Finally, Bugi was experiencing the HOT-Tainan^^. Yesterday, because i couldn't find any "safe" place to park Bugi (*as if Bugi is an expensive car or so ;p), i brought Bugi along with me to Tainan. Yappari, even without Bugi around i'm already a "celebrity" here. With Bugi next to me, i got more "attentions" from the train passengers. *i wish i could be invisible*
Yeah, yeah...Bugi is a folding bike, but still, because i hate "ribet"-thingy, bringing Bugi was such a nuisance. Bugi is 10.2 kgs and my bag was around 7 kgs. So, you can imagine how inconvenient it was. But then, the nuisance of bringing Bugi along got paid because i can ride Bugi here and there Tainan. Including when i got thoroughly lost. Hehehe. I wanted to go to Beimen Road to find something. But then, i got confused by the whole crowded traffics and ended up at Jhongshan Road. Hahahaaa...it happened a lot (*me got lost ;p). Btw, i just realized that Bugi is actually not suitable for the rainy season because Bugi has no FENDER*. These days, my skirt and everything are always all wet when i ride Bugi. I'm wondering whether i have to have my raincoat on every time i ride Bugi.

Life Couldn't Get Better...

Subhanalloh...33x...i don't know how to express how grateful i am (*speechless just like Miss Universe who has her very first victory speech^^). Yesterday, i met Prof. Chiou and have a long-2.5-hours-discussion. I told him about the difficulties i've faced in my research topic. "Breadmaking...OMG, Sir...i never thought i could "slipped into" this kind of research topic. Considering my specialties are food fermentation, food microbiology and mutation....bla...bla...bla". Patiently, Prof. Chiou try to give me some solutive (*solution+creative) way outs. As a result, i got this deals with him :
  1. I can change my research topic, from don't-want-to-do-breadmaking-thingy to definitely-want-to-do-tempe fermentation. Alhamdulillah...dreams come true^^.
  2. He will be my co-advisor and promised me to take 95% of advisoring portion in his shoulders. He will help me in every single steps of my research and will funding the whole research expenses. Subhanalloh...
  3. He will figure out somehow to spare me one spot in his-bloody-crowded-laboratory so i can stay at his lab and do my research at ease. Allohu akbar....
  4. He will talk to my "irresponsible" advisor about this things.

Although my dreams to change advisor were dead, but still, those are the best deals i can get. Subhanalloh...thank you Alloh for giving me this opportunities. That'll be a brand-new-fresh start for me. New room, New research topic, New lab, (+new bicycle. hihihi)...life couldn't get better, really^^.

Atarashii Heya ^o^V

What a day ^^! Tired yet VERY HAPPY. To get this new room that i started to live at from today, surely needs an extra efforts. I have to go back and forth 10 times to "evacuate" my stuff. My former room was in the 3rd floor and i wanted to move to the 1st floor. On and on, i finished the "massive evacuation" in four hours (*including to put the stuff and arrange it nicely in my new room ^^)....all by myself. FYI, there's no elevator in my dormitory. *kurushii*
Actually, i never think it's gonna be this "easy". I mean, i always hear from my friends that moving room-to-room in this place, ain't piece of cake things. The procedures is rather complicated (*that's what i heard). But, subhanalloh...today, everything was SOOOO E.A.S.Y. When i asked the dormitory manager that i wanted to move, she said.."OK, no problem". HAAAAHH??? Did i hear it wrong? FYI, the dormitory manager is famous among us as an unbelievably-hard-to-argue-with person. So, it's surprised me when she said something like that. Subhanalloh...33x.
Alhamdulillah...now i can study much more comfortable without hear someone's singing in a high-pitched voice, someone's gossiping me and Wahid (* and never bothered to use our real name while we are around) nor hear movies-reality shows which are all set in a high volumes. New room...new spirit...new start in everything^^. Bismillah...

Dewi's Early Birthday Party

Wow, two whew-crazy-parties two days in a row ! For the one who is declaring herself as a loner-who-hates-crowded-place-the-most, i can say that i were trying my best to hold on, back then. Well, i managed to survive, though^^V.
Last night, Laskar Chiayi (*plus one benchwarmer named Tina^^), were planned to give Jeng Dewi a surprise birthday party. Thanks to Ella, who was volunteering herself to take Jeng Dewi to Taichung so she's a little bit "distracted" from whatsoever her birthday issues^^.
At 6.45pm, my celly rang. It was Ella. She spoke "Betty, we're already downstairs". At first, i'm a little bit confused. HAH?! Betty? But then, hahahaaa...nice secret code, El (*ROFL). Then, we were crazily preparing the whole finishing touch thingy. When Jeng Dewi's assalamu'alaikum was heard, we were yelled HAPPY BIRTHDAY and successfully shocked her out. YEAY! O-TANJOUBI OMEDEOU ne, DTT-chan. Hang on here. We're almost "there"^^.

Farewell Party

Last night there was a special party conducted in my campus. It was held to celebrate the upcoming commencement for the undergraduate and graduate students who are almost finished their study. I thought it was only for the international students. But then i know just right before we arrived at the restaurant that the overseas Chinese students were also invited. It's been a while since int'l students and overseas Chinese students' gathering (*i remember the last time was on the Food Festivals at Minsyong Campus), so it was really nice to see them all.
