Taiwan International Orchid Show [TIOS] 2010

After trapped in a bunch of things and unable to move my ass off the chair for a few days, finally yesterday i went to Tainan to get my "precious gems" fixed. It takes around 1.5 hours by commuter-cheapest train from Chiayi to Tainan. "Hmmm..quite time-consuming", thought someone who's getting realize that her time is limited and her schedule is tight *sombong =))*
"Heading to Tainan only to get something fixed and then come back?...What a waste", another thought was blasting. After a while, i suddenly remember that March 15th is TIOS last exhibition day. In the end, i decided to visit my beautiful-fellas [read : orchids ;p] there.

But there's a problem. I have NO IDEA where was Houbi Township, Wushulin, the place where TIOS was being held. On TIOS website, there's no explanation about public transportation. Asking one of my friend who went there the day before, she could only gave me one information "Get off at Xinying station". That's it. Was that then pull my intention back to go there? HELL NO ;p. I always found this kind of "blurry" thing is delightful.  After all, one clue is enough. The rest? I'll try figure it out, somehow ;p.

After sat patiently at local train's seat for around 30 minutes, i arrived at Xinying [Chiayi-Xinying; Local Train; NT$34] This city was soon reminded me of Sugamo, one of the district in Tokyo. Here and there was full of obaasan and ojiisan. I felt like the YOUNGEST among all =)). After asked one of the taxi driver [*never intended to take taxi to get to the venue, of course^^], i kinda realized that it was very easy to reach the venue. Merely crossed the train station and we can find intercity bus station. Bought the ticket [NT$24] and waited for 30 minutes, the bus was finally come. It only took 20 minutes from the bus station to the venue. And of course other passengers were grannies and grandpas :)).

Whuaaahhhh...i was very EXCITED after seeing the whole venue called Taiwan Orchid Plantation [TOP]. My hands were busy taking pictures even before stepped my feet at the main venue. When i was about to get my money to buy the ticket which was NT$150, a woman came to me, said "不用買票; No need to buy ticket" and grab my palm to give me a ticket. I was bewildered and murmured "thank you" with my mouth opened...still couldn't believe what was just happened. Subhanallaaahhh...^o^. This is what i love about being traveling ALONE. No one will treat you a ticket if you're traveling in a GROUP, right?? Hahhhaahhh...*alasan ;p*

After that, we'll yeah..i was taking my time walking around the ENORMOUS venue. Check out some of my pictures after 2.5 hours non-stop-pressing-my-camera-shutter [P.S : In the end, i was a little bit dizzy with the orchid's fragrance and nausea after seeing thousands of variants of orchids ~~~~~] :

*i still have hundreds of pictures of them. but i've no "energy" left to upload them. maybe later *tired.tw*

*giga-dumbfounded*

Until now, i still cannot believe this thing is actually happened to me. It's like a blast of a dream. I remember last time i was accompanying Ust. Habib and wife along with Eti and took thousands of pictures [*to be exact, 2682 pictures] during that 4-day tiresome trip. And then, a week ago, my Classic was acting weird....eventually....stopped working. I was like yelling to him : "I didn't mishandle you...i always treat you well!". But he kept silent...as silent as a dumb.

After that, a few hours ago, someone asked me some of the pictures during the aforementioned trip. Of course i replied "No probs, wait a sec, i'll get those pictures for you". Later, i looked through my photo stacks and ended up SHOCKED. There's NO SINGLE PICTURE of that trip. Astaghfirullahal'adziim. Keep reciting istighfar and tried to search in my laptop and both of my external hard disks over and over again, but still no sign of those 2682 pictures. *dumbfounded*

In the end, I finally remember that i put those pictures in my stopped-working-iPOD. aaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRggggggGGGGGhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!! This is more devastating compare to previous-Bugi's loss.

Lesson learnt : NEVER PUT YOUR PRECIOUS files or pictures or anything worth-this-world to you in your iPOD. This device is unstable as a storage drive.

Ust. Habib Answered....

A friend of mine named Savrina once asked me about the meaning of dreams in Islamic perspective. At that time, i was soon responding her question through my posting, here.

A few weeks ago, when i have a [precious] opportunity to be Ust. Habiburrahman El Shirazy's private photographer [*read : stalker ;p], another friend of mine named Yuherina asked the same question as Nyu2's. At that once-in-a-lifetime moment, because both of us [Rince and me] were happened to be private bodyguards for Ust. Habib, she asked that question to Ust. Habib. With a little bit help of my thumbtacks i was able to record Ust. Habib's explanation. If you want to hear his commentary regarding to DREAMS in ISLAMIC PERSPECTIVE, go ahead download the audio file, here. Never intended to be exclusive or something, i've protected my file ;p. PM me for requesting its password. Ust. Habib's explanation is definitely worth-to-death compare to my trivial-previous posting. Xixixi...

Chiayi for 2010's Taiwan Lantern Festival

huRRaaaaaY!!! I cannot express how grateful i am after being informed that Chiayi will be a host for 2010's Taiwan Lantern Festival. There always plenty of privileges for the host-city [*finally proud to be one of Chiayi City's temporary-resident ;p], that's why i'm looking forward to mingle at that event, badly....what else, except for fireworks-hunting ;p.
---------------------------------"""-----------------------------------"""----------------------------------

D-Day
7-minute cycling was apparently rather fun when we know that something awesome will waiting for us out there :D. 30 minutes before the kick off started, i was already on the spot. WHEWWW...i have never seen Chiayi THIS PACKED [*shocked]. Even finding a parking lot for tying up Bugi [= electric pole, tree and such ;p] was extremely difficult. Alhamdulillah, i finally found one. Then, when i was about to unlock Bugi's chain, i realized that I FORGOT TO BRING ALONG THE KEY. Arrrrgggghhh!!!! *upset*

Without hesitation, i headed back to my dormitory to get the key. Let me tell you that although it only takes 7 minutes to go to Chiayi Park [= place where the Lantern Fest is hold], it takes more than two-fold of that time to go back, considering my lovely campus is located UPHILL. *sigh*

Let's skip my hardship to get back and forth between those two places. Finally...with my super fast cycling ability [*hhahhahhh] 10 MINUTES before the kick off started, i was already immersed with thousands of people who also have the same intention like me. Here's my superb video of the kick off after sodok-sana-sini attempt ;p ;p. YIHHAAAA^^V!!!!

Couldn't hold any longer with the crowds, after took some pictures, i headed back to the dormitory. But before that, one more ridiculous thing happened [*this kinda thing is definitely part of my flavorful life. hhahhaahhh]. When i was at the place where i got Bugi chained, i found a woman stood and put her stuff at Bugi's handlebars. I was like "Huh, what the heck this woman doing????". Then, tried to be as polite as possible, i said "這個是我的腳踏車". She replied "Blah..blah..blah [*in Chinese]" while pointing at the cast-iron bar where i have Bugi chained. She showed me how she can loosely moved that bar!!!! MASYA ALLAH!!! I thought i chained Bugi at a solid-safe place. She tried to explain to me that she stood there in order to guard my bike. Whuaaahhhh...i was very touched with her kindness. I almost lost my bike again.Tsk tsk tsk...Bungaaaaaaa!!!! *hammering my head*
