Faithful Friends

Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.” ~Muhammad Ali

Yeah, friendship is not something I learnt from the teachers during the high school, but it is the one I found there. 16 years have passed, and we stay the same. Three of you are not only my best friends, but my faithful friends indeed.

It's always four of us, now and then :')

Honestly, for these past 16 years, I've never felt any warmer than yesterday, in our super fun meet-up. I feel beyond grateful to have you three, now and then. Well, there were times when things set us apart…the crazy schedule, the distance, the misunderstanding, and other absurd "the"s. But from this now on, I don't think I will miss any meet-up with you three whenever I'm going back to my hometown. #promise

P.S: Thank you so much for all the marriage advices, Ladies :)! Since I'm the least expert in marriage than you three, I'll always looking forward to your advices! Can't wait to meet the three of you again, As, Nop, Da~ #loveyouall

The Speedy Runner

Source : http://tinyurl.com/c753dov
Around a month ago, when I went back home to attend my late grandfather's funeral, I took my very limited time to go to some nostalgic places. One of them was my senior high school. Don't ask why this so randomish wanderer ended up visiting her previous school. At that very moment, I just felt I have to pay a visit. That's it.

Honestly, when I arrived at my senior high school's front gate, I soon felt super oldie old #grin #nodoubt. After parked my motorcycle across the school and scanned through things in front of my eyes, I found scenes that somehow linked me to the past. My past...when I was studying there. I saw my old self in some neatly-dressed-and-veiled students who were standing in front of the school for a bus that would safely take them home. I saw my old self in a group of rowdy young girls, chattering while ordering sets of meatballs and noodles at the nearby street vendor. And, the most memorable one, I saw my old self in a tracksuit-wearing young students who were playing football at Lapangan Karang, a football field just 3-minute walk from the school. Nostalgic.

This Is How Ukhuwah Works

These past three weeks, I've been insanely going back and forth from Jakarta to Bogor. And let me tell you that it was VERY TIRING to do that by motorcycling XD! Breaking news, now I'm officially one of the millions of capital city's motorcycle rider. Ha~...adios, angkot! Yeah, I must do that for the sake of fulfilling my IPB's registration procedures. We are all know that the university entrance registration procedures are always VERY COMPLICATED. But surprisingly, I HAD A FUN completing every single step of it. Seriously :).

So, last week, when I was in the middle of getting a recommendation letter from the dean of IPB's Graduate School, I bumped into these people:

Bapake SBI (fourth from right) and Mr. Kom (third from right) :D

Ngape Tang Geye Jikku be~

I was just happened to stumble on this awesomely memorable video on Youtube. #hurrah!

I remembered my father always played this song through his car's CD player during our 50-something-minute journey to his father-in-law's (= my grandfather) house in Muntilan. I assume he still loves to play this song and his other favorite Sambas songs whenever he goes there or else.

After watched over the video, I realized that I've been mistakenly heard the lyric "Yo...ngape tang banjer jikku be" as "Yo...ngape tang geye jikku be". Oh my *-*. I've been listening to this song since I was a baby, but still made sort of catastrophic mishearing...#ckckck. Those two sentences are actually have a slightly similar meaning, but because "flood" is the main idea of the song, thus the first lyric is considered to be the proper one. And oh...btw, I was also just realized that the overall lyrics are somehow hilarious when it gets into this part "Barang jak oi...takder Tuhan". Ahahaha~. I believe that most of the floods that happened (and keep happening) in Indonesia are mostly caused by HUMAN ERROR. #sad
