ThumbTacks + Classic 120 Gb = Perfect Match

I need a recorder. Hehehe. All this time, i never have a real recorder because i've been relying on my oldie mp3 player which has a recording feature. This what i called oldie is now getting "fragile". xixixi. That's why i need to find its successor ;p. While googling, i found this amusing video on Youtube. Call me nerd, but i never knew that my iPod can be a recorder as well, although it needs something to attach to.

So, what kinda gadget needs to be attached to my Classic 120 gigs? Googling again, and i got this. Cool, eh? But i'm kinda anxious to buy this small-tiny-microphone (*its even called micro-microphone on the ads *whew*), considering this careless me who easily get my stuff lost, fell, gone mysteriously, stolen..you name it. Moreover, the ads mentioned that the thumb tack-identical microphone is (only) compatible with iPod Nano 4G and iPod Touch 2G. What about my Classic? *disappointed*. But then, after reviewing back Youtube video i've linked above, my hunch said that it will definitely compatible with my Classic. Kinda risky, but it worth to try ;p. I don't want to pass up the good deal, though. As a result, i ended up purchasing the phenomenal ThumbTacks on my way to Kaohsiung Masjeed (*hahahahaa...i'm not good at holding back something i've been craving). And...it is...A PERFECT MATCH *hurray!!!* No need to install the third party apps either. Awesome, eh? *smiled victoriously*

Here's my new micro-mic (it costs NT$450) :

Instructions :

Simply plug in your ThumbTacks to the jack whenever you want to do the recording and voila...the Voice Memo menu will appear in your interface and you can record anything you want ^^V.

Hahahaaa...funny, eh? But then after do a little googling i found that the flowchart is somehow correlated with this article. Oh...so, we got more time in picking up our dropped food before it gets bacteria-laden. 30 secs for wet foods and 30 secs longer for dry foods. Nice..nice...=)) *please don't tell my food microbiology lecturers that i'm considering this fact. they'll get heart attack.  bwahahahaaa...*

Recommended Places to Buy Daily Needs in Taiwan

The second episode of 'Survival Guide in Taiwan' will give you an information about places to buy your daily needs. Remember to shop wisely (*it's a reminder for myself too #tongue)!

1. RT-Mart (大潤發 ; dàrùnfā)

If you want to get a grocery-priced goods, do your deals here. RT-Mart is a good choice and it's definitely better than Carrefour. Trust me.

2. PX-Mart (全聯福利中心; quánliánfúlìzhōngxīn)

PX-Mart is not a grocery supermarket. Things a little bit pricey here, but lots of choice of its goods make people attracted to shop in this place. If you want to buy a variety of Taiwan-ish snacks such as mochi (莫基; mòjī), iron eggs (鐵蛋; tiědàn), etc, this place provides tons of them, in a quite affordable price.

3. Poya Living Mart (寶雅生活館; bǎoyǎshēnghuóguǎn)

Poya has its own uniqueness, that's why it's called "living mart". Almost every daily goods can be found here. And btw, it's Ming Chia Mei's huge competitor in providing variety of things. Note that almost everything being sold here comes out in a cute-and-irresistible forms. You'll tempted to buy this and that even though you ain't a shopaholic. Be careful when you go to this 'dangerously pocket drainer' place :D. It's a warning.
